Little Golden Books have been around for such a long time, that some of them are collectible.  A few, such as Little Black Sambo, are politically incorrect these days and are no longer published, which creates scarcity for the title.

As with all books, the earliest versions, particularly first editions are the most rare and are correspondingly most valuable.
